Who the hell uses a new Buick as a student drivers car?

Hey, calm down. It’s not an E30 M3 we are talking about here. They aren’t driving a hellcat. It’s just a stupid little Buick crossover. Although they should be driving a 90’s Civic with a 5 speed PR something like that.

Huh?
I wasn’t angry or anything. I was just confused why someone would be using a brand new mid-range luxury car for a student driver.

It’s like the least expensive Buick.
We had a new (then) Malibu, which cost about the same. I got a ‘90s Impala, which I was more comfortable.

That is bizzare. Maybe the local Buick dealer donated it to the school? That’s not unheard of.
My school had a Buick as a drivers ed car, but it was a shitty mid-90’s Skylark that was basically a rolling penalty box.

The school I was at had year-old Malibus and a pair of brand-new Hyundai Sonatas, so not too crazy.

There's a driving instructor in my town that I regularly see who teaches kids to drive in a red 2011 V6 mustang. He's also a health/PE teacher at the high school in our town. Car still looks brand new, not a ding or scratch on it.

That’s an interesting choice for sure.
I personally think that a shitty Civic or Crapola are better choices for student driver cars.

You’re being too generous. The Encore is a cheap little car. The MSRP is $25k, and they probably got a really good deal on it.

Yeah, I had a Cavalier with like 250,000 miles on it.

That’s not a Buick!

I have too agree with what others have said, it probably got donated by a dealership.
When I was in high school the local Chevy dealer gave the school a couple of demo cars every year to use for Driver’s Ed.
